For over a decade, every November, Majestic Farm has put on an annual horse show called the Turkey Trot. In 2018, though, as part of epilepsy awareness month, Majestic Farm announced a call to purple!
In a show of support for Channing, competitors wore purple show clothes, painted their faces with purple, and some even spray painted their horses purple!
What’s more, the show raised $750, which Channing donated to C.U.R.E. (Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy).

The next year, 2019, the Turkey Trot evolved even further. Majestic Farm generously changed the Turkey Trot to Dressage for a Cause. The fundraising goal that year was $2,500, but Channing’s fans stepped up big and raised just shy of $6,000 for C.U.R.E. (Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy).
This year, the goal is to raise $7,500, because until there’s a cure, drug-resistant epilepsy will hold the remote control that dictate our lives.
